Communications Committee
This committee guides image, branding, content, and internal, and external communications. It discusses programming, matures guidelines, reviews content, enhances social media, engages influencers, and produces multi-media content like the “AAMS On Air” platform.
Data & Technology Committee
This committee drives data initiatives like opinion surveys, salary and cost studies, and member engagement analytics. It supports research and programmatic improvements across the air medical industry. It fosters participation in industry initiatives such as the ETHOS platform.
Vice Chair
Education & Publishing Committee
This committee reviews and selects educational programming for the annual Air Medical Transport Conference (AMTC). It liaises with faculty for schools such as CCTA, LIFT, MTLI, and SMTA maintaining AAMS acumen. It also supports course expansion and professional development.
Government Affairs Committee
The committee leads AAMS’ workforce, legislative and regulatory advocacy. It monitors federal policy, coordinates with industry coalitions, and drafts support letters for legislation such as Medicare reimbursement and the No Surprises Act Enforcement Act.
Vice Chair
Patient Safety & Quality Committee
This committee focuses on clinical risk management and safety initiatives and the sharing of best practices. It has supported projects like the Inadvertent Combative Patient panel and is developing a related white paper.
Staff Liaison
State/Regional Association Committee
This committee fosters collaboration among national and state-level organizations with a goal to enhance bi-directional communication. It maintains a directory of active associations and supports a toolbox for state and regional collaboration. It promotes safety and advocacy primarily through the sharing of best practices and pooled resources.

Committee
This committee spotlights and supports the community’s workforce through recognition, leadership support, and career development pathways. These include the 40 Under 40 distinguished awards program, the clinical bridge program known as Critical Care Transport Academy (CCTA), and embraces partnerships like the medical pilot career launch program with NEMSPA.
