Membership Information

The Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS) is the only national association serving the entire air and ground medical transport community. AAMS provides all of its members from medical transport service providers, to suppliers, to individuals, numerous and invaluable benefits. A voluntary, non-profit organization representing over 600 companies, programs, and individuals, AAMS encourages and supports its members in maintaining standards of performance reflecting safe operations and efficient, high-quality patient care.

The association is built on the idea that representation from a variety of medical transport services and businesses can be brought together to share information, collectively resolve problems, and provide leadership in the community.

Organization Memberships:

Regular Membership includes organizations that provide medical transport services.  

Industry Membership includes organizations that provide services to the medical transport organizations.

2026 Regular Membership Rates: 

Number of Bases* Minimum Dues Additional Per Base
1-10 $2,200 for 1 base $2,200 
11-25 $23,650 for 11 bases $1,650
26+ $48,400 for 26 bases $   550

All base dues include one vehicle.  Additional transport vehicles are priced per base as follows:

• $550 per additional rotor wing staffed asset per base
• $275 per additional fixed wing staffed asset per base
• $55 per additional staffed critical care ground ambulance per base

*Base – Physical Location from which vehicles conducting patient transports originate and/or return. 

Industry Membership Rate:  $1,100 Flat Fee
