Thank you for your interest in submitting an abstract and participating in our Poster Showcase at AMTC SHIFT in Fort Worth, TX, Oct 31 – Nov 2. The success of this event relies on the education and content of our industry professionals and we appreciate your contribution. Abstract submissions will be due to AAMS on or before May 31st. If our panel of reviewers have any questions you will be contacted between the time of your submission and the end of June. Each individual is permitted to submit a maximum of 5 abstracts.

The Poster Showcase will take place inside the AMTC SHIFT EXPO Hall and will be available for viewing all three days of the show. You are not responsible for manning your poster, but participating posters will be judged and those chosen will be asked to present their poster live on our Education Stage, also located inside the AMTC SHIFT EXPO Hall. The application contains a question that inquires whether you are open to a live presentation. It is completely acceptable to say no, it will in no way effect your chances of being chosen to participate in the Poster Showcase, we are simply confirming availability and interest.

Additionally, as we grow our expectations and overall outlook on AMTC, we have spent some time digging into the history of the conference. One glaring inconsistency we have found in the education content is diversity among our speakers and presenters. One of AAMS's missions is to create a more inclusive culture, and we plan to put those words into action at AMTC 2021. We ask that as you create your submission, you consider ways in which you can include diversity in the content as well as the execution of your presentation. This includes submitting topics that incorporate race, gender, and sexual orientation, as well as finding speakers that would embody this content. We will be placing much more emphasis on this idea in 2021 and look forward to your contribution.
