Hurricane Ian Update:
“Visit Tampa Bay remains in close contact with officials from Hillsborough County, the City of Tampa, partners, and community leaders as operations resume following Hurricane Ian. With the storm shifting to our South, much of Hillsborough County was spared from infrastructure damage. After an extensive walkthrough, no major damages to the Tampa Convention Center or the downtown core occurred. Tampa Convention Center will resume normal business operations starting Monday, October 3rd. Tampa International Airport resumed service September 30th. We also stand ready to assist our neighbors in South Florida in the weeks ahead.”
