AAMS Welcomes Scott Powell, CEO of Quick Med Claims, to the Board of Directors

Mr. Powell brings 28 years of experience in the healthcare payor industry

Alexandria, Va. – The Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS) is pleased to announce the addition of Scott Powell, Chief Executive Officer of Quick Med Claims, to the 2022-2023 Board of Directors. Mr. Powell joins the board to fill the recently vacated Director position representing AAMS Class I Members. 

Currently, Mr. Powell is responsible for executive leadership and oversight of the Quick Med Claims organization. His background in the payor space and his experience with leadership development, process automation and standardization, supports continued growth and provides outstanding service for QMC clients. Mr. Powell came to Quick Med Claims following more than 25 years at UnitedHealth Group, where he had most recently served as the Senior Director of Global Resources. Scott has a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Duquesne University.

“My extensive background in the healthcare payor system is well aligned with the more experienced medical transport professionals on the AAMS Board,” says Mr. Powell. “As a fresh set of eyes, I can bring different questions and additional perspectives to the table, along with my leadership experience, focus on driving culture, compliance and compassion.”
