Dear AAMS Members - 

As the Chair of the Nominations Committee, I am pleased to announce that nominations for the AAMS/MFI Board of Directors are NOW OPEN. AAMS and the MedEvac Foundation value and seek diverse leadership as defined by race, ethnicity, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, nationality, disability, appearance, geographic location, and professional level. We seek leaders from all types and sizes of eligible organizations.

We are seeking candidates for the following Board positions*:

• CLASS I - One (1) Seat
  This position will best align to the shifting strategy and diversity needs of the organization. Priority will be given to Industry Members.
• CLASS II - One (1) Seat
  This voting director must reside and be employed by an AAMS member company outside of the United States.
  
• CLASS III - One (1) Seat
  This voting director must represent a traditional program. A traditional program is defined as an organization (a hospital consortium, an ambulance company, single health system, or other organizations who are considered traditional programs) that provides the medical crew, does or outsources the billing/collections, and utilizes a separate company to provide aviation (Part 135) services.
  
• CLASS IV - One (1) Seat
  This voting director must be employed by an AAMS member company classified with 1-10 bases.
• CLASS V - One (1) Seat
  This voting director must be employed by an AAMS member company classified with 11-49 bases.
  

*Initial terms will be staggered during the transition to the new governance structure.

Nominations must be received no later than October 31, 2021.

In order to submit a nomination, the applicant's organization must be up-to-date with their AAMS member dues for 2021.
