Novice Presenter Workshop
Tuesday, November 5 1400h – 1600h
Has the thought ‘I would like to do that’ ever crossed your mind during an AMTC presentation?. Here’s an opportunity to test run your idea and rough presentation before submitting it to AMTC. AMTC is presenting this workshop space to practice your potential presentation and get critical yet productive feedback from fellow novice presenters. In order to participate you should have a completed presentation and you must register for the specific session. The workshop will be guided by specific ground rules. All who participate in the session are committed to providing constructive feedback and sharing of ideas on how to improve the presentation overall. What happens in the workshop space, stays in the workshop space. Facilitators may include those who have reviewed AMTC presentations previously to provide feedback as well. You must be registered for the workshop in order to participate. Please register through AMTC online registration!

This review is NOT for teaching new concepts in-depth, but to remind students of concepts which have been previously learned and refreshed. Please register through AMTC online registration!
The Difficult Airway in Pre-Hospital Critical Care

This half-day intensive program in difficult and failed airway management was designed by senior faculty of The Difficult Airway Course: EMS™ for advanced providers at AMTC. The program starts with a brief research & best practices update and moves quickly to advanced airway skills labs. Attendees tackle advanced video laryngoscopy, surgical airway, ventilator management and intubation in uniquely challenging situations. The session ends with a group case simulation followed by a rigorous evaluation of the team’s effectiveness. This course, which is hosted by the ASTNA, is ideal for critical care providers who want to take their airway skills to the next level. This event is a Pre-conference workshop held prior to the Air Medical Transport Conference. Register today as space is limited!

IAFCCP-Sponsored Critical Care Exam Review
The 20-hour course delivered over two full days, provides a comprehensive review of the advanced clinical and operational material that critical care transport providers are expected to understand. The course is designed to provide participants a thorough review of complex subject matter in the areas outlined in the CP-C® and FP-C® Detail Content Outlines.
IAMTCS Certified Flight Communicator REGISTER (coming soon)
The Certified Flight Communicator Course is a 2-day certification developed for communication specialists in the Air Medical field. Topics covered include Flight Following and Navigation, Map Reading skills, Aviation weather, PAIP, Stress Management, Public Relations, and Medical Terminology to name a few. Following successful completion of the exam, status as a Certified Flight Communicator is earned.
IAMTCS Advanced Communication Specialist REGISTER (coming soon)
The Advanced Communication Specialist course is a 2-day certification developed for communication center managers, lead communicators as well as veteran communication specialists. Topics covered include Time Critical Decision Making in Aviation, Advanced Aviation Weather, Team Communications & Briefing/Debriefing, Risk Assessments, Recruitment & Retention, Disaster & Emergency Preparedness, Stress Recognition & Sleep Deprivation and Sharing Our Experiences & Knowledge. Following successful completion of the exam, status as an Advanced Communication Specialist is earned.
IBSC Paper/Pencil Exam Administration (FP-C®, CCP-C®, CP-C®, TP-C®, TR-C®)
The expectation for all exam candidates is a mastery of current trends and therapies in each specialty area of paramedicine. The certification exams are not meant to test entry-level knowledge, but rather the experienced paramedic’s advanced skill level.
