The inaugural Great American Safety Drive, held this past Spring, delivered safety presentations to 13 different host program locations in eleven states across the U.S.A. The event lasted 2-weeks, reaching more than 700 participants, unprecedented participation numbers for a single industry safety event until now. The Drive also raised more than $120,000 for the MedEvac Foundation to support safety research and education, as well as special programs such as Vision Zero and the Survivors Network.
Following this resounding success, we are pleased to announce that planning is underway for a second Great American Safety Drive to take place in 2015 – a brand new route, new host program partners, and high quality safety education are in the works!
If you would like to get involved – be that as a potential host program location, a featured speaker, a volunteer driver, or a safety stop attendee, please contact Erik Waller at the MedEvac Foundation – firstname.lastname@example.org or (703) 836-8732.
