Great American Safety Drive makes a pit (safety) stop at Talladega Superspeedway!
Departing on Saturday, May 31, from Santa Monica, Calif. en route to beautiful Hilton Head, S.C., the GREAT AMERICAN SAFETY DRIVE is underway, demonstrating our industry’s commitment to safety for our crews and the patients we serve.

At various stops along the way, host locations are holding ½ day safety events with participation from local air medical and their EMS counterparts invited to attend. Make plans to attend one of the “safety stops” in your region, and/or hit the road to join the safety drive for a portion of the trip across the country. The more, the better – all in the spirit of SAFETY.
The goal of the Great American Safety Drive is to raise at least $100,000 for the MedEvac Foundation International, earmarked specifically to support safety research, education and programs such as the Survivors Network and Vision Zero.
